Benjamin graduated from Davie County High School in 2003. He then went on to Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC, where he graduated in May 2007 with a BA in Youth Ministry and minors in Christian Education and Computer Information Systems.

Benjamin was born in Winston-Salem, NC, and grew up in Mocksville, NC, where most of his family still lives. He has one sibling, a brother, who currently lives in Chicago, IL. Benjamin and his girlfriend, Ryanne, have known each other since Kindergarten, but didn't start dating until April 2007. They are about to celebrate 2 years together as a couple!

After graduating from Pfeiffer University, Benjamin went to work for his home church, Hillsdale UMC, as the Director of Children's Ministry and Creative Technology. After working there for a little over a year he felt led to pursue his calling (and his focus while in college) of Youth Ministry. In October 2008 Benjamin joined the staff at Rehobeth as the Director of Youth and Children's Ministries.

Missions, anything related to computers or technology, traveling (especially to the beach), camping, tennis, spending time with my friends and girlfriend.

The Director of Youth and Children's Ministries works with the Church Council, Children's Council, and Youth Council to develop effective ministries for children and youth at Rehobeth United Methodist Church.
