Homecoming Celebration
We are pleased to welcome back Rev. Phil DeBerry as our 2026 Homecoming speaker during the worship service on Sunday, May 3. Phil was the pastor of Rehobeth Church from 1989 to 1998. He and his wife Nancy will join us after the service for a covered dish meal in the fellowship hall. So bring along a couple of your favorite food items to share! Absolutely everyone in invited!
Graduates to be Honored May 3
Also during our Homecoming Sunday service we will be recognizing our graduates. If you know of a church member who will be an upcoming graduate from high school, college, or graduate school or who graduated this past December, please notify the church office as soon as possible. We don't want to leave anyone out! We would also like to have a small photograph of each graduate so that we can prepare a bulletin board for graduation Sunday. Photos are due in the church office by Sunday, April 26.
First Thursday Meal
Our next First Thursday meal will be served on May 7, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., or until we run out of food. This month's menu includes chicken pie, vegetables, tossed salad and dressing, and dessert. We can always use volunteers to help prepare and serve the meal. If you are interested in helping, please contact the church office!
Rehobeth Welcomes Charlotte Bronze on May 8
We are thrilled to be welcoming the Charlotte Bronze Handbell Ensemble on Friday, May 8, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall! Charlotte Bronze uses a variety of instruments, including five octaves of handbells and chimes, and performs regionally during the Christmas and spring seasons. There is no cost for the concert, but an offering will be taken up voluntarily to help expand the instrumentation and outreach of the ensemble. Please invite your friends and neighbors and prepare to be inspired by this year's them, "Hymn of Grateful Praise."
Church Fellowship - May 9
Absolutely everyone is invited to an old-fashioned gathering on Saturday, May 9, beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Connor Recreation Center picnic shelter. Hot dogs, homemade ice cream, and homemade cobbler will be served. This is a free event - just come enjoy a relaxing evening of food and fellowship with friends!
