Rehobeth's Turn to Volunteer at Ashure Ministry

Volunteers from Rehobeth Church are needed to help at Ashure Ministry from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, September 12. Ashure Ministry (formerly known as ECCCM) is a cooperative Christian ministry that provides food to its clients and maintains a thrift store. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign the sheet in the Narthex.

Cards & Snacks

All are invited to "Cards & Snacks" on Wednesdays, September 11 and 25, starting at 10:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall. So bring some snacks to share and join in the fun!

Church Council Meeting

There will be a meeting of the Rehobeth Church Council on Sunday, September 15, at 7:00 p.m. in the fellowship hall of the Family Life Center. All Council members are asked to be present at this important meeting.

Calling All Joyful Ringers!

On Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m., the Rehobeth Ringers handbell choir will hold an interest/planning meeting. If you can count to four, you can play bells, and we would love to have you join us! No need to be able to read music. Please consider joining this small group that prays together, has fun together, and makes a joyful noise! If you have any questions, please contact Carolyn Miller.

Fun Timers Head to Knob Creek Orchard
The Fun Timers--a group of adults who enjoy going on outings together--will be going to Knob Creek Orchard in Lawndale on Tuesday, September 24. We will meet at the church at 11:00 a.m. to carpool to BBQ King in Lincolnton for lunch before heading to the orchard to enjoy ice cream and fellowship under the gazebo. If you are interested in going, please sign up either on the Fun Timers Facebook page or he sign-up sheet in the narthex.

Blessing Box Ministry Needs Volunteers

One of Rehobeth's ongoing missions is our Blessing Box. The Blessing Box, which is located outside the Family Life Center, is stocked with nonperishable food items and hygiene products that are available to those in need 24/7. However, it takes a bit of effort to restock the Blessing Box every single day. If you would be willing to help stock our Blessing Box on a rotating basis, perhaps one day a week, please sign the list in the narthex. This is a wonderful way to be a blessing to others and also receive God’s blessing. Thank you so much for supporting this critical mission!

Looking Ahead

ColeStrong Golf Tournament

The 13th annual ColeStrong Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, October 21st, at Glen Oaks Golf Club in Maiden. If you are interested in playing in the tournament or becoming a sponsor, please take one of the registration forms that are posted on the bulletin board in the narthex. Forms and registration fees can be turned in to Rosie in the church office. Proceeds from the tournament go to the American Cancer Society and to local folks in our community who are undergoing cancer treatments.
