Bible Study Offered in March

Dr. Steve Pickard will be offering a four-week study of the Old Testament. The sessions will take place every Tuesday morning in March at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Family Life Center. If you are interested in participating, please sign up on the list in the narthex. Everyone is welcome!

Ash Wednesday Services

Pastor Tony is offering two opportunities to celebrate Ash Wednesday on March 5. Join him at noon for a brief service of prayer and the imposition of ashes. He will also lead a longer service at 7:00 p.m. that includes music, prayer, and the imposition of ashes. Both services will be held in the sanctuary. Please join one of these special times of repentance and renewal.

Cards & Snacks

Our March gatherings for cards and snacks will be on Wednesday, March 12 and  26, at 10:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall. Bring a snack to share and come join the fun!

​​Fun Timers Headed on Another Adventure

The Fun Timers group will visit the recycle center in Conover on Friday, March 14. We will leave the church parking lot at 9:30 a.m. and car pool to the site. Note that everyone must climb a flight of stairs to access the observation area to view the recycling process.

After our visit, we will stop for lunch before returning to the church. Please sign up on the Fun Timers Facebook page or the list in the narthex if you plan to join us!

Mae Howard Circle

The Mae Howard Circle will meet on Monday, March 17, at 12:30 p.m. in the church parlor. Please note the change in time--this will be our new meeting time going forward. All ladies are invited to join us!​​​​

UMCOR Sunday - March 30

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) is the humanitarian arm of The United Methodist Church A special offering will be taken up in our congregation on Sunday, March 30, which will underwrite the administrative costs of UMCOR, thereby allowing 100% of other donations to go directly to disaster relief efforts around the world. During 2024, UMCOR responded to 137 humanitarian crises, including 21 floods, 26 hurricanes/tropical storms, 25 tornadoes, 11 fires, 7 public health emergencies, 3 earthquakes, 1 landslide, and 16 other kinds of disasters. Please plan now to donate to this arm of the church. If writing a check, please make it payable to "Rehobeth UMC', with "UMCOR Sunday" in the memo line. Thank you!​​​​

Spring Luncheon

Absolutely everyone is invited to lunch on Sunday, March 30, following the worship service. The ladies of the Mae Howard Circle are sponsoring this luncheon in the fellowship hall. There is no set price for the meal, but donations will be accepted to go towards the missions and ministries of the Mae Howar Circle. We hope to see you there for this time of fellowship!
